When you are ready we welcome you to contact the school office 3 months in advance to your child turning 5 and we can arrange school visits to transition your child as best as possible into our school. Enrolment packs are given when your child attends school visits which include further information you and your whanau may need. 

We welcome any new students and their whanau to contact the school office if you are planning on enrolling your tamariki in our school and would like to have a look around. One of our friendly staff members or the principal will happily give you a tour.  

As of the 1st of February 2020, Mangatainoka School is operating an enrolment scheme or zone. A full explanation of the boundaries for this zone can be viewed below. This zone has been introduced due to rapid roll growth during 2019. 

NB: when a child enrols at their first school after turning 5 years old the school must take a copy of their birth certificate.  We need the number off the birth certificate in order to enrol your child on the Ministry of Educations database. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any queries about your child’s schooling.  Working together we can create a bright future for all of our children.

1. Pupil Enrolment form—separate triplicate carbon copy sheet

2. Mangatainoka School Contact Details—separate sheet (we take this on trips etc)

3. Personalised action plan for students with asthma (if needed)

4. Cybersafety and permission to use photos form

We also need to take photo copies of birth certificates (only new entrants or enrolling in any NZ school for the first time) and immunisation certificates.
